Two men trade punches after stopping a saleng in Chon Buri
A roadside dispute between two men caused traffic disruption in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district, Chon Buri, after a video of the pair fighting on the street was shared online on March 15.
The clip shows two men stopping their saleng, a motorcycle with an attached sidecar, and getting into a fight on the road. One man is seen wearing shorts while the other is in long jeans. Vehicles behind them are forced to stop, with traffic building up as the confrontation continues.
The person who shared the video added a caption stating that the pair “stopped to clear the air for two minutes, then carried on as if nothing happened”, alongside the hashtags “Muay Thai” and “Pattaya”.

Yesterday, March 16, at 5pm, a reporter visited the area to verify what happened and spoke with a nearby vendor, 35 year old Mud. He said he saw the two men arrive on the saleng together before pulling over and stepping into the road.
Mud said the man in shorts appeared to start the altercation and that the pair was throwing punches and grappling for less than a minute, before stopping and sitting near a bank as if they were talking something through.
The man in long jeans then rode the saleng away, while the man in shorts remained in the area. Mud added that he did not know what caused the dispute.
The reporter also spoke with the person who recorded the video, 23 year old Montri. He said he was riding towards Sukhumvit Road when he noticed the saleng carrying two men. Montri said the passenger was speaking harshly to the rider before they pulled over and began fighting.

According to Montri, the two men appeared to leave together and behaved as if nothing had happened after the incident. He believed the disagreement may have started with something said in the moment, and he suspected the man in shorts may have been intoxicated before the argument escalated.
In similar news, a fight broke out during a lively concert in Pattaya, leaving one man injured and raising questions over safety, noise, and event management. Amid the flashing lights, a group of young men launched an attack on a lone individual, with the assault caught on video.
