How to get an MRT card in Bangkok
MRT, known as Bangkok’s Mass Rapid Transit, is one of the most popular modes of transportation in Thailand. With its multiple lines, such as the Blue Line, Purple Line, and others, it connects most of the important business, residential, and cultural areas of the city. MRT mostly runs underground, unlike BTS which runs on top of that. With an arrival time of every five to seven minutes, it can get crazier and busier than the BTS sometimes. Getting a token is one way, but an MRT card can greatly impact your travel time and convenience during rush hours.

Blue Line: Runs from Hua Lamphong in the south to Bang Sue in the north, covering 18 stations. It extends further from Wat Mangkon to Lak Song with 11 more stations, and from Bang Sue to Tha Phra, featuring 9 elevated stations.
