Van-dalism! Biker goes berserk in Pattaya road rage rampage

A crazed biker turned a peaceful temple road into a warzone after smashing up a passenger van in broad daylight. The shocking moment was caught on camera.

The terrifying road rage attack unfolded yesterday, April 21, outside Nong Yai Temple in Pattaya, leaving a white Chon Buri-to-Rayong passenger van with its windows shattered and its shaken driver vowing legal action.

Footage that has since gone viral shows a motorcycle taxi rider appearing to cut in front of the van before stopping abruptly, jumping off his bike, and launching a frenzied assault on the vehicle with what appears to be a heavy object.

The attacker is seen smashing the van’s left, right, and front windows as stunned passersby look on.

Behind the wheel was 25 year old Thongmai Khotlakham, who explained the incident to local reporters.

“He got off, pointed at me, and told me to get out of the van. I had a full load of passengers and didn’t want trouble, so I stayed put. That angered him, and he started smashing my van’s windows on both sides and the front with a hard object before speeding off.”

The van driver insists he did nothing to provoke the attack and has no prior history or conflict with the man.

“I’ve no idea what set him off.”

The shocking attack has sparked online fury, with netizens demanding justice after the footage, filmed by a horrified bystander, was widely shared on social media, reported Pattaya News.

Thongmai, who carried on with his route despite the damage, says he will file a police report and press charges against the rogue rider once he completes his passenger drop-offs.

A similar incident in Pattaya erupted into a violent street brawl fight between motorcycle taxi drivers in Soi Diana. The fight left one man with severe stab wounds after an argument over a minor traffic accident spiralled out of control.

The brutal attack, captured on CCTV, saw two young drivers ambush and stab a fellow rider in a shocking act of road rage.
