Pattaya mobilises over 400 officers to ensure festive safety

A substantial force of over 420 officers and volunteers took to the streets of Pattaya on Christmas Eve, ensuring the safety and security of tourists during the festive period.

The initiative, which took place at precisely 6.36pm on December 24, was spearheaded by Yingyot Thepchamnong, Commander of Police Region 2, who orchestrated a comprehensive safety operation for the Christmas and 2025 new year festivities.

The endeavour, aptly titled By Your Side, With Care Throughout the Festive Season: Ready to Serve, Ready to Protect, Ready to Care, saw a collaborative effort involving the Chon Buri Deputy Governor, members of the 14th Army District, Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, alongside officials, volunteers, and representatives from the private sector. The operation mobilised over 420 participants, complete with vehicles and motorcycles, to bolster the city’s security measures, reported The Pattaya News.

Yingyot expressed the commitment of the Region 2 Police to diligently serve, protect, and care for residents and tourists during these celebrations.
