A violent road rage incident took place recently when a Chinese man brandished a machete and attacked a white BMW car after stepping out of a taxi.

The altercation took place on a highway cutting across Hebei Province, China on November 7. The aggressive act, captured in a video clip, left many onlookers terrified.

The incident unfolded when the two vehicles were involved in a dispute over a lane change. The driver of the BMW refused to let the black taxi merge into his lane. The Chinese man retaliated by exiting his taxi and attacking the BMW with a machete, slashing at the car while hurling curses.

Witnesses recount that the Chinese man’s violent behaviour sent shivers down the spines of many bystanders. The dispute between the two drivers was believed to have sparked from a minor traffic disagreement that quickly escalated, reported Sanook.
