Thai tomboy hospitalised after sedan driver rams and assaults her
Victim pleads online for clues to violent driver as police remain silent

A Thai tomboy is seeking justice after a man crashed his sedan into her motorcycle and physically assaulted her on a road in the central province of Pathum Thani on Saturday, April 3.
The 25 year old victim, Thipchanok, was hospitalised at Bangpakok Hospital 2 in Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani, following the incident. She turned to her university Facebook group for her university to seek justice, asking witnesses and other motorists to come forward with any evidence. She wrote…
“Did anyone witness the assault or have any evidence of the incident last night (April 3), between 3am and 4am? The sedan driver chased me, crashed into my motorcycle, and assaulted me before fleeing the scene. I’m currently in the hospital. Please help. Let me know if you have seen this registration number before.”
Thipchanok included a photo of the car’s registration plate, กษ 4013, in the post. She did not have any photos or videos of the attacker, making it difficult to determine his identity, which is why she appealed to the public for help.
Later, Thipchanok gave an interview on the news programme Hone Krasae about the incident. She explained that she had been riding her motorcycle to pick up her girlfriend in Soi Pornthisarn. When she arrived at Soi Malee, the location of the assault, the driver cut in front of her.

Thipchanok admitted that she became angry and shouted obscenities at the sedan driver. This provoked the man to follow her and deliberately crash into her motorcycle, causing her to fall. He then exited his vehicle and repeatedly kicked her.

She said she tried to get up and defend herself, but was in severe pain from an injury to her leg. The man continued his attack until residents, alerted by the noise, came to investigate. The sedan driver then fled the scene upon noticing the witnesses.

Thipchanok sustained a torn tendon in her leg, as well as multiple scratches and bruises from the repeated kicking. She reported the assault to officers at Khlong Ha Police Station but has yet to receive an update on the case.
