Rescue personnel assisted in evacuating the injured from the bus, providing first aid before transferring them to nearby hospitals, including Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital and Bang Lamung Hospital, for further medical attention.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the bus was travelling from Bangkok to Pattaya when a vehicle exiting a gas station cut in front of it. The bus driver attempted to swerve and brake suddenly, causing the bus to lose control and overturn, reported KhaoSod.
Police have documented the scene and gathered evidence. Detailed questioning of the driver is planned to ensure appropriate legal proceedings are followed.
In a similar incident, 18 passengers endured a terrifying ordeal when their intercity bus collided with a trailer, struck a lamppost, and overturned, leaving them trapped inside.
