The shooting took place at a petrol station in Ban Wang Nam Khiao yesterday, February 3, resulting in over 10 shots fired at 31 year old Kittiwet, leading to his death.

Kan revealed that the incident was driven by anger towards Kittiwet, who allegedly harmed his 11 year old daughter multiple times at school. Fearing for his daughter’s safety, Kan had stopped sending her to school.

Kan further expressed concern that Kittiwet’s actions might escalate, as he reportedly suffered from mental health issues and often exhibited inappropriate behaviour towards women. The police investigation led to the arrest of Kan and Wacharin at their residences within a rubber plantation. Police seized a 9mm firearm, ammunition, and a motorcycle used in the crime.

Police Colonel Prasit Premkamon of the Chaiyaphum Police Station confirmed that both suspects face charges of murder and illegal possession of a firearm. They have been taken into custody to proceed with legal action, reported KhaoSod.
