Pentagon insider exposes UFO secrets in new book ‘Imminent’

Elizondo unveils government secrecy and personal encounters with UAPs in 'Imminent'

Luis “Lue” Elizondo, a veteran researcher for the Defence Department, has gained recognition for reporting the existence of unidentified flying objects, now referred to as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs).

In his latest book, “Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs,” Elizondo, a former Pentagon insider, reveals hidden aspects of this secretive realm. The book is currently available to the public. Elizondo spoke with Stephanie Ramos about his reasons for writing the book, government secrecy surrounding UAPs, official statements on these phenomena, and his personal unusual experiences.

Decades of speculation and conspiracy theories have surrounded unidentified flying objects. In “Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs,” Elizondo, who once led the Pentagon’s UAP investigation programme, discloses significant truths with implications for national security and our understanding of the universe.

Thanking Elizondo for joining the discussion, Ramos highlighted that “Imminent” narrates Elizondo’s efforts to disclose what the government knows and does not know about UAPs. Elizondo explained that he wanted to inform the American public about his experiences and the government’s long-standing interest in UAPs, which he emphasised are real and pose a national security issue.

Ramos recalled her time at the Pentagon, mentioning the secrecy surrounding UAP investigations. Elizondo’s book suggests that while some secrecy around UAPs is valid, humanity should not be kept in the dark about intelligent life in the universe. Elizondo argued that during the Cold War, the US government did not want to reveal any information gleaned from UAPs to the Soviet Union, and that governments are responsible for protecting their citizens.

For sceptics doubting the existence of UFOs, Elizondo pointed out that high-ranking officials, including a former director of national intelligence, a former CIA director, and a former president, have acknowledged the reality of UAPs. He noted that advanced technology, eyewitness accounts from trained observers, and radar data all support the existence of these phenomena.

Elizondo also shared his personal experiences with UAPs, noting that both he and others in his programme encountered these phenomena around their homes. He described witnessing luminous green balls of light with his family and neighbours, although he acknowledged that natural explanations like ball lightning or plasma static charge could be considered.

The interview concluded with Ramos thanking Elizondo for sharing his insights and promoting his book, “Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs”. Elizondo expressed his gratitude for the opportunity.
