Pregnant woman gives birth in rescue vehicle during Chinese New Year
A heavily pregnant woman gave birth in a rescue vehicle in Songkhla province during the Chinese New Year celebrations, prompting locals to seek lottery numbers from the vehicle’s registration.
Yesterday, January 29, the rescue team from the Mitraphap Samakee Foundation assisted in the delivery of a baby boy after the woman went into labour while being transported to the hospital.
The incident occurred on January 28 when the rescue team received a call about a woman experiencing labour pains, requesting transport to the hospital. However, she gave birth to a baby boy en route, at 9.40am, in the rescue vehicle with the registration number 5556. Both mother and child were safely delivered to Hat Yai Hospital afterwards.
The 32 year old mother expressed gratitude to the rescue team for their assistance during the unexpected delivery. This baby boy is her sixth child, and her delivery was initially scheduled at Hat Yai Hospital in a few days.
However, the labour pains prompted her to call for the rescue vehicle, leading to the roadside birth.
Following the news, locals were captivated by the event, particularly as it coincided with the Chinese New Year. Many gathered to note the vehicle’s registration number for its perceived luck, hoping to use these numbers for lottery tickets, reported KhaoSod.
The numbers 555, 556, 655, 940, 009, 004, and the two-digit numbers 55, 56, 65, 00, 94, and 49 were particularly favoured by those hoping to win a prize.
In similar news, over the past decade, the Thai lottery draws on February 1 have revealed a pattern, with certain numbers appearing frequently.
Notably, numbers 7 and 3 have been drawn four times each. Interestingly, these numbers align with predictions from a respected figure known as Ajarn Notty, who has urged followers to consider these numbers in the upcoming draw as a means of regaining faith.
