We are not Daniel Thaiger

We’re sure that it probably goes without saying that we are not Daniel Thaiger. But just for the laughs, we thought it’d be fun to go through what The Thaiger and Daniel Thaiger are and aren’t. A burning question also arises, do people ever get confused because of the names?

Daniel Thaiger was founded in 2013 by Mark and Honey, who noticed that Bangkok, despite its status as a street food giant, was missing two things: a proper American burger, and food trucks. By combining the two things close to their hearts, Daniel Thaiger was set up as the go-to place for West Coast-style burgers.

Things weren’t easy at first, but as soon as word of their food truck spread around, a new burger craving was ignited in Bangkok, and people could not get enough of their burgers. But their secrets to success have always remained the same: hard work and fresh, high-quality ingredients used daily. This is Daniel Thaiger.

We at The Thaiger recognise Mark and Honey’s hard work and dedication, perhaps seeing a striking resemblance between us two parties sharing the same Thaiger name. Similar to Daniel Thaiger, The Thaiger holds a similar dedication and passion for delivering fresh and new content every day for our beloved fans.

The Thaiger, born from the legacy of The Phuket Gazette in 2018, has evolved into a leading digital news source in Thailand. We have news coverage in both English and Thai, reaching an audience all across the nation. We are The Thaiger.

Now it doesn’t seem as if either of us has ever gotten confused for the other, but a clear fact remains. Daniel Thaiger is where people can go for some of the best American-style burgers in Bangkok, and The Thaiger, having evolved to become much more than just a news site, is a place everyone can rely on for daily Thailand content!
