A potential tragedy was averted when a two year old girl found herself in the middle of a four-lane road. A passerby informed the child’s father, who was unaware of the situation.

Yesterday, February 10, a video clip was posted on social media by a resident of Chachoengsao province. The footage, captured by a dashboard camera, shows a child pushing a cart into the middle of Sirisothorn Road, heading into Chachoengsao city. The poster described the incident as a reminder to parents to keep a close watch on their children.

The reporter met with Adithep, the 40 year old father of the child, Print, who is two and a half years old. He explained that at the time of the incident, he was watching television in another room while Print was playing elsewhere. He was unaware of her departure until a concerned passerby alerted him.

Adithep recounted that Print had placed two pet kittens in a basket at the back of the cart. One of the kittens, the black one, jumped out and ran away, prompting Print to push the cart after it.

Unfortunately, the cart rolled down a sloped path leading to the road. Fortunately, a Good Samaritan intervened, rescuing Print before any accidents occurred in an area known for speeding modified cars, reported KhaoSod.

Adithep urged those caring for young children to never take their eyes off them, even for a moment. He admitted that he had only heard of such incidents happening to others until it happened to him. He expressed his gratitude to all who helped ensure his daughter’s safety.

In similar news, a dramatic incident unfolded when a child was carried under an elephant’s belly, only to be kicked and nearly trampled. This event, captured by a security camera, sparked significant concern online, with many warning of the inherent dangers involved.
