The victim, Suban Kaewsang, had multiple stab wounds, including a 5-centimetre cut on his chin, a 15-centimetre gash on his right chest, a 3-centimetre wound on his left chest, and a 5-centimetre cut on his abdomen. Additionally, he suffered two more stab wounds on either side of his body. Despite being rushed to Somdej Phra Phutthaloetla Hospital, Suban succumbed to his injuries.

The assailant, 29 year old Rakphon Kaewklao, sustained a near-severed right little finger. He accidentally cut himself with the knife he used to stab Suban. Rakphon was also taken to the same hospital for treatment.

Witnesses provided further details about the incident. A 26 year old man, Attapol Rungruchot, explained that he had a longstanding feud with Rakphon.

On the day of the incident, Attapol was drinking beer at the store when he encountered Rakphon. To avoid trouble, Attapol decided to leave and called his uncle, Suban, for a ride home. As Suban arrived, he crossed paths with Rakphon, leading to a violent encounter.

Initial investigations revealed that several individuals, including Patthana Damrongsin, Chaonat Kranisuk, Jaruphat Homwichian, and Rakphon, were drinking beer at the store. The altercation stemmed from the previous tension between Attapol and Rakphon. Fearing further conflict, Attapol called his uncle for assistance, which inadvertently led to the fatal encounter.

Police have detained Rakphon at Somdej Phra Phutthaloetla Hospital, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries. He will face legal proceedings once he recovers, reported KhaoSod.
