A motorcyclist was reported to have kicked and damaged a car’s side mirror outside a well-known Huai Khwang shopping centre in Bangkok following a traffic dispute. The incident, which escalated from an argument over a lane change, led to the motorcyclist fleeing the scene.

The victim, who shared the event on Facebook under the name Mouy Worarat, explained that the confrontation began at a red light where the motorcyclist accused them of cutting in front. Despite being a considerable distance away, the motorcyclist hurled insults, prompting the victim to ignore the provocation initially.

However, the situation escalated when the motorcyclist kicked the driver’s side mirror. As the victim continued driving, the motorcyclist followed, honking persistently and shouting.

When the victim retaliated with insults, the motorcyclist took another opportunity to kick the mirror again, which the victim managed to record on video.

Yesterday, Police Lieutenant Sakon Boondok, the Deputy Inspector of Investigation at Huai Khwang Police Station, received a formal complaint from the victim.

They reported the incident, which occurred on Ratchadaphisek Road, heading from Sutthisan to Rama IX intersection, across from The Street Ratchada shopping centre and near the U-turn at Fortune Town, Din Daeng district, Bangkok.
