A group of over 10 motorcyclists attacked a 17 year old seeking refuge in a convenience store. The incident occurred around 12.30am yesterday, March 5, with the victim sustaining severe injuries to the forehead, arms, and back.

Reporters met with the victim, Tae, who had seven stitches on his forehead, a swollen right eye, a split lip, and cuts on his arms and legs. A significant injury was also found on his back, just below the neck.

Tae recounted that after finishing work around midnight, he intended to wash his motorcycle. As he was leaving the alley, he noticed several motorcycles carrying groups of teenagers.

He hesitated to proceed, waiting until they passed before continuing his journey. As he passed them near the Chonprathan Hospital entrance, the group shouted at him, asking, “Are you fresh?” Realising the potential danger, Tae attempted to flee.

The teenagers chased him until they reached the Sahakorn 3 intersection, where a car suddenly cut in front of Tae, causing him to crash.

The group caught up, armed with knives, and repeated their question. Tae ran across the street to seek help in a convenience store.

Inside the store, the teenagers followed and attacked him with knives. Tae recalled losing consciousness and only regaining it inside a rescue vehicle.

He insisted he had no prior acquaintance or conflict with the attackers. After the incident, Tae filed a report at Pak Kret Police Station to pursue legal action against the group.

CCTV footage corroborated Tae’s account, capturing the group of over 10 motorcycles passing the alley where Tae had waited. Another camera showed them chasing Tae through a tunnel to the incident site, reported KhaoSod.

He was attempting to escape in the middle lane when a car from the left abruptly changed lanes, colliding with him and causing him to fall. Following this, the group assaulted him, forcing him to seek refuge in the convenience store, where they continued their attack.
