French diver Jules Bouyer has become an unexpected internet sensation at the 2024 Paris Olympics, but it’s not just his athletic prowess that has fans buzzing. A photo of the 22-year-old in his tight-fitting swimwear has gone viral on social media.

Bouyer is now competing in his first Olympic Games on home soil. He is set to dive alongside teammate Alexis Jandard in the final of the men’s synchronized 3m springboard final on Friday and will also compete in the individual 3m springboard event next week.

However, it’s a poolside photo of Bouyer that has captured the attention of many fans. Jules Bouyer,rising star in the diving world, began his journey in the picturesque lakeside town of Annecy, France. His natural talent and determination led him to start diving at a young age.

His potential was quickly recognized by coaches, who encouraged him to join INSEP, France’s prestigious national sports institute.

Although he missed out on a medal at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Bouyer persevered and continued to hone his skills. His dedication paid off when he secured a silver medal in the 3-meter springboard event and a bronze medal in the mixed 3-meter synchronized event at the 2023 European Games in Rzeszów, Poland.

Bouyer’s success didn’t stop there. In the same year, he and his partner, Alexis Jandard, clinched a bronze medal in the mixed 3-meter synchronized event at the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan.

Despite facing setbacks due to a shoulder injury, Bouyer remained undeterred. He competed in the 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Doha, Qatar, where he finished in 5th placeใ

Regardless of the outcome of the competition, he has already made a stunning debut at the Paris Olympics.
