170K meth pills and 2 kg crystal meth seized in Hat Yai

A man has been arrested with 170,000 methamphetamine pills and two kilograms of crystal methamphetamine in Hat Yai, Songkhla.
A team from Hat Yai Police last week arrested 31 year old Watcharaphon ‘Pom’ Srinuanput at a rented room in Hat Yai.
He was found with 170,000 methamphetamine pills and two kilograms of crystal methamphetamine inside his room.
Watcharaphon told police that all the drugs belonged to a 32 year old man known only as ‘Benz’ who lives near Hat Yai Airport.
Watcharaphon said he was looking after the drugs while waiting to deliver to other drug dealers. He was receiving 500-1,000 baht for every time that he looked after the drugs. He also gets some free drugs for himself as a bonus.
