Hitting the right note: Security amped up for Pattaya Music Festival

Pattaya is gearing up for its biggest music festival of the year, with officials rolling out major security measures and road closures to keep crowds safe and traffic under control. With thousands expected to attend the Pattaya Music Festival 2025, police are leaving nothing to chance.
Top officials gathered at Pattaya City Hall on Monday, March 3, to finalise security and traffic plans for the high-profile event.
The meeting was led by Police Colonel Patikorn Sornchai, Deputy Commander of Chon Buri Provincial Police, alongside Kiattisak Sriwongchai, Pattaya City Clerk. Representatives from Pattaya Police, Bang Lamung Police, and various other agencies were also in attendance.
Police announced a major security deployment, with a staggering 611 personnel stationed across the festival zone.
The security force will include police officers, city inspectors, Sawang Boriboon rescue teams, marine rescue units, volunteer police officers, tourist police, and civil defence volunteers.
“Our goal is to ensure that festivalgoers can enjoy the event safely while keeping the city running as smoothly as possible,” said an official.
With thousands expected to flood Pattaya’s Beach Road, major road closures will be implemented to prevent congestion and allow emergency services easy access.
Beach Road will be closed daily from 3pm to 1am, spanning from the Dolphin Roundabout to the Nipa Lodge intersection. However, traffic heading from Central Pattaya to the Wat Chai intersection will remain unaffected.
To enhance safety, an emergency lane will also be established along Beach Road, from the Dusit Curve to Soi 9, allowing for quick response times for medical and security teams, reported The Pattaya News.

The Pattaya Music Festival is one of the city’s most anticipated events, drawing music lovers, tourists, and partygoers from across Thailand and beyond. Featuring top artists, vibrant performances, and an electrifying atmosphere, the festival is expected to bring Pattaya to life.
With final security plans in place, officials are urging visitors to plan their journeys and follow traffic restrictions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable festival experience.
