The ground floor, where the beer bar operates, suffered significant damage from the fire. However, the upper floors, which are rented out as rooms, remained undamaged. Firefighters also ventilated the building to clear out the smoke.

Wannee Phanlai, the caretaker of the rental rooms, shared her harrowing experience. While resting on the fifth floor, she received a call informing her about the fire. Rushing downstairs, she encountered heavy smoke and chaos. She attempted to navigate through the smoke and flames, seeing officials already battling the fire with extinguishers.

Wannee, who manages the property for the owner, mentioned that she had never encountered such an incident before. She suspects that the fire might have been caused by an electrical short circuit on the ground floor, especially since she heard explosions while the fire was being doused.

Police are currently investigating the scene to determine the precise cause of the fire, reported Pattaya News.
