In a shocking incident, a drug-addled man fatally stabbed a 21 year old student in Trang, southern Thailand yesterday. The victim, Kulissara (surname withheld), also known as Bam, was attacked by 36 year old Jakraphong (no surname given), a relative, who was reportedly high on drugs.

The incident occurred at 6pm in a local village, and the 21 year old student was later laid to rest in a nearby temple the following day.

Kulissara’s younger sister, 18 year old Nathawara, who narrowly escaped the stabbing attack, recounted the horrifying events. She revealed that they were returning from their aunt’s house when they encountered Jakraphong blocking the road.

After a struggle, Jakraphong managed to grab Kulissara while Nathawara fled, barely escaping with a minor knife wound. Nathawara revealed that they had previously reported Jakraphong to the police for harassment, which might have fueled his rage.
