Naked ambition: Cleaning lady bares all, but clients want more than just a spotless house
A 32 year old woman has been cleaning homes in the nude for six years, earning more than £50 (2,190 baht) per hour. Despite her insistence that she’s there strictly to clean, some of her male clients believe they’re getting more than just a tidy home for their money.
The naked cleaner, Lottie Rae, admitted that there are a few creepy people who hire her but added that overall her clients just want to be friends.
“I make it clear that I’m just here to clean, but they’ll say that other cleaners have stripteased or offered massages.”
Rae revealed she took up the unusual gig back in 2017 as a way to make extra money.
“I’m always looking for ways to make extra money, and I’m quite body confident, so I thought, okay, I’ll give it a go.
“The money has definitely helped. I wouldn’t do it if I wasn’t being paid the financial incentive.”
However, her first job terrified her to the point of no-showing after she looked up the house on Google Maps and found it was in the middle of a forest. Unfortunately, not all experiences are positive. While some men see the routine as a turn-on, one male client put porn on the TV in the evening while she was cleaning his home naked, reported New York Post.
Apart from the creepy men, some of her clients just want a friend or someone to hang out with. One of her regular clients is also a nudist.
“When I go in, he’s already naked. We have coffee, and I play with his dog, and then I get to work.
“Clients will also be naked. Some are quite nervous at first and stay clothed until they’re comfortable enough to undress.”
She recalls one client who had the messiest home she’d ever seen but didn’t want her to clean. He just wanted a friend.
“My friends and family know what I do, and I think they wonder why I do it. They think these men are weird and creepy, but generally, they’re nice people.”
