A Thai woman who won the lottery with 87 tickets offered 900 chicken eggs as a form of gratitude. She previously won five second-prize tickets and revealed the source of her lucky numbers.

Following the announcement of the government lottery results for September 16, the winning numbers for the first prize were 608662, and the two-digit ending was 37. Many residents were overjoyed when their lottery numbers matched the winning numbers, a blessing they attributed to Buang Nakabas at Phu Pahang Wongwanaram Monastery, located in Yang Hak, Pak Tho, Ratchaburi.

People from Phetchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, and Ratchaburi gathered to offer large quantities of chicken eggs to the sacred Buang Nakabas, housed in a glass display case within the monastery’s pavilion.

A woman shared that she had previously won five second-prize tickets. Before the lottery results were announced, the lucky individuals had sought blessings from Buang Nakabas.

She received the lucky numbers from incense sticks used in fortune-telling, with common winning numbers being 926, 137, 297, and 69. Many people had similar numbers, leading them to take a chance on the lottery.

The scene at the pavilion was a testament to the miracle, with rows of chicken eggs filling the space. Some people had vowed to offer eggs if they won, while others donated cash from their winnings. When asked, those who were lucky this time expressed their intention to return close to the next lottery date, bringing offerings as promised, driven by their belief in the sacred power of Buang Nakabas, reported KhaoSod.

The woman, Sawaluk, from Phetchaburi, expressed her happiness.

“I am thrilled. I prayed to construct a black statue of Phaya Nak, and I won the second prize with five tickets, amounting to 1 million baht.

“This time, I won with the last three digits 008 and 408. I bought 87 tickets in total, choosing numbers 08, 008, and 408. I prayed to Buang Nakabas to win with these numbers.

“I promised to offer 900 chicken eggs and some cash if I won. I feel grateful for the blessing. The eggs I offered were distributed by the monk to the villagers, which added to our merit.”

Another woman from Nakhon Pathom shared her experience.

“I won a significant amount this time after my mother and I prayed at Buang Nakabas. We offered chicken eggs and 5 kilogrammes of rice. I was confident since the numbers matched what I already had, and they turned out to be winning numbers. I earned tens of thousands of baht.

“I brought chicken eggs, garlands, and rice to offer. I plan to return to pray at Buang Nakabas before the next lottery date. I learned that the monk distributes the offered eggs to the villagers, which doubles the merit we earn.”
