Pattaya’s infamous 4 Step Tomboy nightclub takes a stumble in narcotics raid
Officials yesterday cracked down on Pattaya‘s infamous 4 Step Tomboy nightclub. Allegations of illegal activities prompted a raid that exposed the possession of narcotics at the nightclub.
Bang Lamung District Office and Pattaya Police Station officials, spearheaded by district chief Phisit Sawatdinukul and district chief secretary Kamolchanok Konsombat, launched a decisive raid on the notorious 4 Step Tomboy nightclub at 3.30am, yesterday, December 7.
The nightclub on Pattaya Third Road was a whirlwind of activity with over 100 patrons dancing to blaring beats. Complaints of extended operating hours and drug use fuelled this operation, leading authorities to intervene and halt the revelry.
Upon entering the club, officials were met with a disturbing sight. The venue’s floor was strewn with plastic bags resembling narcotics, and suspicious bags were discovered in the bins. The implication? Revellers may have hastily disposed of illegal substances upon police arrival.
A shocking revelation unfolded as authorities conducted urine tests on every individual in the venue. The results exposed 17 people – 9 males and 8 females – testing positive for illegal drugs, reported Pattaya News.
Investigators discovered that the nightclub lacked proper licensing documentation to operate legally. This lack of compliance with regulations heightened the severity of the charges against the establishment.
The individuals responsible for managing the nightclub, along with those testing positive for drugs, were swiftly apprehended and taken into custody. While their identities remain shrouded in secrecy, they face further investigations and legal proceedings.
As the legal process unfolds, police are set to rigorously test the substances found in the plastic bags, aiming to positively identify the nature of the illicit substances. This meticulous analysis is expected to shed light on the extent of the drug-related activities within the confines of 4 Step Tomboy.
