The Pattaya Water Sports Club unveiled the ambitious plans for the Pattaya Boat Show 2025 to Mayor Poramet Ngampichet at City Hall on August 20, setting the stage for a truly world-class event.

Attendees can expect a packed schedule featuring everything from water rescue training and beginner boating lessons to thrilling fishing competitions and exhilarating boat rides. The show will also boast state-of-the-art technology exhibitions and concerts by top-tier artists, ensuring entertainment for everyone, from tourists to investors.

The primary aim of the event is to attract international investors and tourists with a passion for water activities, which, in turn, is expected to generate substantial economic benefits for Pattaya and Thailand. This event could be a game-changer in boosting Pattaya’s global profile.

However, it’s not all smooth sailing. Mayor Poramet, while expressing strong support for the show, flagged several challenges that need immediate attention.

Concerns were raised about the venue’s parking constraints and the potential impact of nearby structures on the event space. Moreover, the use of Bali Hai Pier, being a maritime location, necessitates obtaining clearance from the Pattaya Regional Marine Department.

The mayor has urged organisers to revise the event layout to better align with the venue’s characteristics and to work closely with relevant officials to secure the necessary approvals. Further discussions are set to take place once these adjustments and permissions are secured, reported Pattaya Mail.
