A slick road proved treacherous for a brand-new pickup truck transporting factory employees. The pickup veered off course and landed on the roadside, causing injuries to several female workers. Police promptly responded to the scene to provide necessary assistance.

The incident transpired at 6.30am today, December 13, when Wiroj Phueadchanthuek, a deputy inspector at Wang Takhian Police Station, received reports of a worker transport vehicle having skidded off the road along Suwannasorn Road, Route 33, heading towards Kabin Buri.

The accident occurred near Ban Nong Sanap, Village 5, Bo Thong subdistrict, Kabin Buri district, Prachinburi province.

Wiroj, along with rescue teams from the Sajja Phutthatham Foundation of Thailand, rushed to the location to investigate and aid the injured.

Upon arrival, they discovered a white Isuzu D-Max pickup truck, bearing newly issued red license plates from Bangkok, which had careened into a grassy area off the road. The truck was ferrying factory employees, and as a result of the accident, eight female passengers sustained injuries.

The air was filled with their cries of pain, prompting immediate action from rescue volunteers who transported all injured workers to Kabin Buri Hospital for medical treatment, reported KhaoSod.

“The road was slippery, and the truck lost control, leading to the accident,” said Atchara, the driver, who was also a passenger in the vehicle.
