Violent altercation in Chon Buri: Man attacks ex-wife and partner

In the early hours of today, police in Saen Suk district were alerted to a violent altercation at a dormitory in Mueang district, Chon Buri province.

The incident today, March 13, involved a confrontation where a man attacked his ex-wife and her new partner. The new partner managed to escape by breaking a bathroom window and is currently missing.

The assailant, identified as 29 year old Panupong, sustained injuries from glass cuts on his arms and hands and was transported to a private hospital by emergency services.

His 25 year old ex-wife, Wassana, suffered bruises on her body and face and was taken to Burapha University Hospital. Blood was found throughout the room and bathroom.

Panupong, reportedly intoxicated, claimed he was still Wassana’s husband and that they had a child together. He expressed that he came to the dormitory after Wassana went silent, and he found her with another man.

He insisted he did not want their child to grow up without a mother. He admitted to attacking the couple, stating that he had reached his limit and acted out of frustration.

Wassana recounted that the assailant was her ex-boyfriend and that they had already parted ways. She described how he violently threatened her and attempted to harm her current partner, who managed to escape upon her urging. Wassana expressed considerable pain in her arm from the ordeal, reported KhaoSod.

The police plan to conduct further interviews with the injured parties and continue searching for the missing new partner to ensure that legal proceedings are appropriately carried out.

In similar news, a tragic incident occurred in Bangkok when a man fatally stabbed his ex-wife’s new partner, a transgender woman, reportedly after being provoked through text messages.

The attack took place around 11pm on February 21 in the Bang Bon district, resulting in the death of 32 year old Myanmar national, Sin Oo. The suspect, 46 year old Soe, fled the scene but was later apprehended by police.
