These initiatives aim to cater to diverse lifestyles, meet shoppers’ demands, and adapt to ever-changing travel trends while also enhancing sustainable tourism practices to retain loyal customers and attract a new generation of shoppers.

To create a Colorful Summer shopping atmosphere, the mall will be decorated with vibrant POP ART installations, adding a fun and lively touch throughout the shopping centre.

Additionally, the special campaign JUNGCEYLON POP YOUR SUMMER will offer shoppers discounts of up to 70% at over 300 stores. Customers who spend 3,000 baht or more can participate in the Summer Spin game to win the Jungceylon Summer Collection at the Tourist Privilege Booth from March 20 – April 6.

Tourist numbers in Phuket

Prawit further noted that as of January to February of this year, Phuket’s tourist numbers have returned to 2019 pre-pandemic levels. To align with evolving travel trends, Jungceylon is focusing its marketing efforts on key tourist markets, including Russia, China, India, Australia, and Kazakhstan, as well as European visitors during high season, Middle Eastern tourists, and ASEAN travellers.

The mall also welcomes FIT (Free Independent Travelers) and group tour visitors, including cruise passengers, who typically seek full-service experiences and have high purchasing power.

What’s coming up in April?

Additionally, in April, the mall will celebrate Songkran (Thai New Year) with special events, including the Thai Market festival and an Easter Celebration, transforming the shopping centre into a lively space filled with adorable bunny decorations.

With increasing flight routes to Phuket, visa-free entry for select markets, LGBTQ+ marriage equality laws boosting tourism interest, and the rise of gastronomy tourism and global influencers, Jungceylon anticipates a 15-20% increase in shopping activity and sales growth for retailers.

This growth will be supported by high-profile events such as Thailand Biennale Phuket 2025, along with enhanced marketing and promotional campaigns, ensuring Jungceylon remains a top shopping destination for both local and international tourists.

Prawit concluded that he looks forward to what this has to bring Phuket this year.

“We are excited to welcome visitors from around the world and provide an elevated shopping, leisure, and cultural experience throughout 2025.”
