Thai woman admits borrowing friend’s car for abduction and assault plan
A Thai woman confessed to borrowing her friend’s car to abduct and attack her sister’s ex-boyfriend, leaving the car damaged and bloodstained.
The owner of the bronze Honda City sedan, 29 year old Thanaporn Wilaepana, filed a complaint with Pak Kret Police Station in Nonthaburi on March 10 after a female friend borrowed the car and returned it damaged.
Thanaporn also reported finding bloodstains and a military ID card belonging to an unknown person inside the vehicle. He told police that the friend left the car outside a condominium in Nonthaburi province and contacted him to collect it. He said he then could not reach her.
Police later summoned the Thanaporn’s friend, identified only as Piao, for questioning yesterday, March 11. Piao told officers she had asked Thanaporn to pick up her and a friend named Pom to take them to an entertainment venue.

Piao said she later encountered a man named Nui, whom she described as her sister’s abusive ex-boyfriend, outside the venue. She alleged Nui had abused her sister during their relationship, which made her angry and and determined to seek revenge.
Piao saw Nui get into his friend’s car and leave the venue. So, she borrowed Thanaporn’s car in order to follow Nui and abduct him.
Piao said she used the borrowed vehicle to cut in front of Nui’s friend’s car and then told Pom to bring Nui to their car. She said a high-speed chase followed, during which Pom assaulted Nui in the back seat, resulting in bloodstains.

Piao told police she drove onto an expressway, believing Nui’s friend would stop following. However, Nui’s friend continued the pursuit and crashed into the rear of the borrowed car, causing it to hit a pickup in front. Nui then used the moment to escape, got back into his friend’s car and left the scene.
She said the vehicle was heavily damaged, so she abandoned it outside a condominium and called Thanaporn to retrieve it. Piao promised to take responsibility for the damage but did not explain why she did not respond to Thanaporn’s calls after the incident.
Pak Kret Police officers told Channel 7 they are ready to proceed with the case, but no parties have filed formal complaints. Police said Thanaporn has not lodged a complaint against Piao, while Nui, who was assaulted, has not taken legal action against Piao or Pom.
