Python swallows a goat in Satun – VIDEO

A python has swallowed a baby goat in Satun in southern Thailand.

Song Tai Satun Newspapers reports that a staff member at the Tanyongpoe Tambol Administrative Organisation in Satun was notified of the incident yesterday.

Rescue workers arrived at a rubber plantation to find the three metre python, with a noticeable bulge along its long body, inside a goat house.

Rescue workers caught the python and tried to make it regurgitate the goat. The dead baby goat was about three months old.

After losing its lunch, the python was relocated in the nearby forest away from residents.
