Residents of a Kamphaeng Phet house were startled when a family of pythons was discovered in their home. Yesterday, February 18, rescue workers from the Sawang Kamphaeng Phet Unit in Khlong Lan were called to assist 62 year old Tui Suwanbang.

He reported numerous snakes at his residence, located at house number 20, Moo 6, Ban Pang Nuea, Pang Tawai subdistrict, Pangsila Thong district, Kamphaeng Phet province. Responding promptly, the team arrived to find five pythons coiled beneath a table in the corner of the house.

Using snake-catching equipment, the rescue team carefully extracted each python. However, the reptiles repeatedly attempted to retreat back to their corner.

Eventually, with the help of onlookers, the snakes were placed into fertiliser sacks. It took over an hour to secure them all before they were released back into the wild, far from human habitation.

The pythons varied in size, suggesting they belonged to the same family, with lengths ranging from 1 to 3 metres. The homeowner expressed surprise at the considerable number of snakes in their home.

Locals speculated that the house number, 20, and the presence of five pythons, along with their lengths, could be used as lucky numbers for gambling, reported KhaoSod.

Tui shared his shock at discovering five pythons in his home, noting that such an occurrence was unprecedented. In the past, no snakes had entered his home in such numbers.

He contacted the rescue workers to safely capture and relocate the snakes, speculating that the pythons might have been seeking a safe place to stay and find food.

In similar news, officials from the Thung Khai Subdistrict Administrative Organisation found themselves in a tailspin when a slippery python made a daring escape.

The reptilian Houdini slithered its way onto the bonnet of their white Nissan pickup truck, leaving onlookers in Trang province utterly gobsmacked.
