In a series of successful home burglary crackdowns, Thalang police apprehended two suspects in Thepkrasattri, in southern Thailand. This recent breakthrough in the investigation came as a relief to the local community, which had been plagued by a spate of break-ins and robberies.

The two men, 41 year old Anon “Nont” Somphet, a resident of Moo 4, Thepkrasattri, and 44 year old Kraisuk “Oh” Sukcharoen, who resides in Moo 1, Tambon Laem Kaen in Thai Mueang District, Phang Nga, were both nabbed at a residence in Moo 4, Thepkrasattri. The police, however, remained tight-lipped about the exact time and date of the arrest, adding that this arrest was the outcome of a police complaint lodged on September 25.

The suspects’ arrest led to the seizure of a trove of items, which the police believe are stolen goods. These include an SJRC brand drone, an ACER notebook, an ASUS notebook, a DNS notebook, two laptop bags, a laptop stand, a Nordway brand backpack, an axe, a shotgun, a variety of power tools, a Harley brand bag, a Honda motorbike registered in Chiang Rai, two boxes of amulets, and a pair of metal-cutting pliers, reported The Phuket News.

Following the arrest, the suspects were whisked off to Thalang Police Station, where they were formally charged with jointly stealing or receiving stolen property. This charge was confirmed by the Thalang Police, as they continue to build their case against the suspects.
