A viral video, viewed over six million times, has surfaced online, posted by an electricity meter reader, showing what appears to be a ghostly, deserted village in the Pracha Uthit district of Bangkok. The TikTok user, @jrlouis0, posted the footage while reading electricity meters in the area which resembles an abandoned village.

The video, captioned: Give this village the number one ghostly spot #MeterReaderWorker #scary #horror #ghost, shows the meter reader on a motorcycle entering the village where the roads are flooded, wild vegetation sprawling, and houses seem dilapidated.

Some parts of the road contain puddles, making it a risky ride due to the danger of slipping and falling.

The ghostly deserted village visual portrays an eerie scene, reminiscent of a horror film, that has left numerous internet users intrigued and chilled with what they have seen.

Many have commented, questioning why there are so many abandoned houses and whether anyone really lives there, reported Sanook.

To this, the poster of the video replied.

“There are two sides, on one side, some people live, on the other, there’s only one house, which is the last one I filmed. There are people living there. If I had to guess the total number in the village, it would be less than ten.”
