Lost in DOMLAND: Reclaiming your playful spirit
Step into the secret world of Udom Taephanich's solo art exhibition, showcasing over 1,000 creations

Trendy Gallery proudly presents Lost in DOMLAND, a not-so-playful, but deeply playful art exhibition by Udom Taephanich. This time, you’re not being invited to listen. Not to sniff anything either. You’re here to see.
When we were kids, we were tiny explorers. Everything around us sparked curiosity. Playing was like a universal language, it helped us figure out the world. We shaped modelling clay, doodled endlessly, made up stories, and lost ourselves in fairy tales. Every bit of play was like unlocking a new version of the world, and of ourselves.
But then, we grew up. Society handed us this adult zone badge, and suddenly we started fearing mistakes, overthinking what people might think of us. Laughing at nonsense? Dressing up however we wanted? Doing silly things just because they made us feel alive? Most of us can’t even remember the last time we did any of that.
Stopping play is like shutting the door on possibility. It traps us in the same old loop. Like a rock stuck in place, we stop growing and start slowly wearing down. That’s what real ageing looks like.
And it’s not about wrinkles on your face, it’s the tiredness in your spirit. No skincare routine can fix that.
Play isn’t something you grow out of—it’s a mindset.
Play isn’t a waste of time—it’s part of being fully alive.
A life without play? It’s like food with no flavour.
Journey through over 1,000 works from the wild imagination of Udom Taephanich, showcased within ICONSIAM’s most secret space, located nearly 40 metres above the Chao Phraya River. Spanning an area as large as a football field, it’s a space expansive enough for you to play with your own imagination all day long!
