How to use 7-Eleven stamp in Thailand

Right now in Thailand, 7-Eleven is running a stamp campaign. For every 50 Baht you spend, you get a 1-baht stamp, and for some special promo items, you get 3-baht stamps. You can collect these stamps in a booklet they give you and trade them in for cool limited-edition stuff, like items featuring characters from Sanrio, LINE FRIENDS.

The current 7-Eleven stamp campaign in Thailand is all about Doraemon, but with a Thai twist. Each stamp highlights popular landmarks and foods from across the country. The campaign started on July 24, 2024, and runs until November 23, 2024.

How to get and use the stamp

  • Earning stamps: Customers receive one stamp for every 50 Thai Baht spent and three stamps for purchasing selected promotional items. The stamp can either be a physical stamp or an online stamp if you have ALL member.
  • Value of stamps: Each stamp has a face value of 1 Baht, making them usable as cash for purchases at 7-Eleven.

If you already have the ALL member, you can also use the points obtaining through that too. The items can be redeemed until December 15, 2024.

What if I don’t want to collect items

If you don’t wish to collect items, you can also use the stamps directly as cash towards your purchases, although they cannot be used for alcohol or tobacco products. Additionally, there is an option to donate unused stamps to charity.

Tips for collecting stamps

If you have All Member from the 7-Eleven ALL member loyalty programme, you can earn more stamps and get points through this way. If you don’t, you can also register as a foreigner.

How to register an 7-Eleven ALL member

  1. Call the 7-Eleven member service line (listed on their Thai website). You may need a Thai friend to assist if your Thai is limited.
  2. Provide your name, email and phone number to the agent. They will call you back within a few days to confirm details and send an email.
  3. Reply to the email with a photo of your passport, an electronically signed consent form, terms and conditions agreement, your 7-Eleven app user ID, and a few other details.
  4. Wait for them to process your documents. They will call you again, send an OTP to your registered phone, and ask you to recite it to them.
  5. Your membership will be processed within 7 days (often faster). The whole process can take 1 to 2 weeks if starting from their general email.

Limitations for foreigners

  • You cannot connect your TrueMoney Wallet to the 7-Eleven app like Thais can.
  • The discounts and offers for foreigners are limited compared to Thais.

Benefits of ALL member

  • Earn 3 points per 10 Baht spent by showing your phone number, scanning the 7-Eleven app barcode, or paying via the cashless TrueMoney Wallet app.
  • Redeem points for coupons, coins (worth more than points), or premium items.
  • Access exclusive member promotions and discounts.

While signing up for the ALL member programme can take some time, it’s worth it for foreigners. You can earn rewards and unlock special deals at 7-Eleven in Thailand. Just be patient with the phone calls and emails!

This campaign is pretty big in Thailand. People love collecting these stamps, trading them, and grabbing those limited-edition items. Some even use them for small trades like buying snacks for each other, so it’s not just about the merch but also about the fun of collecting!
