‘The Magical Stars’: Disney-themed fairytale kingdom rolls out nationwide
Central Pattana, TAT, and The Walt Disney (Thailand) joins forces to create a Christmas sensation (Nov 2025–Jan 2026)
Central Pattana plc, Thailand’s leading sustainable real estate developer and operator of Central shopping centres nationwide, is joining forces with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and The Walt Disney (Thailand) to create a global year-end festive sensation with ‘The Magical Stars’.
The campaign introduces four Disney-themed fairytale kingdoms, highlighted by a signature Christmas tree and 3-metre-tall Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in Thai silk at Disney The Magical Stars 2026 at centralwOrld, along with Magic Town, featuring a Mickey & Friends theme, and Magic Castle, inspired by Disney Princesses.
Central Pattana is also showcasing the beauty of Thai art and culture through The Magical Thai Pride, a Christmas tree with a Thai identity, made to honour Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, and to continue her legacy of elevating Thai handicrafts on the global stage.
The Magical Stars will bring festive joy from November 14 2025, to January 11, 2026, across all Central shopping centres nationwide.
Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, Chief Marketing Officer for Central Pattana plc, commented on the festive season’s implications for tourism in Thailand.
“Central Pattana is committed to helping boost Thailand’s economy and tourism during the festive season. Our goal this year is to let people truly feel the festive spirit through an immersive sensory-living experience that connects every sense.
“Disney is a dream destination for many, and this year we’re bringing that dream closer to everyone with beloved characters like Mickey & Friends and Disney Princesses across the country.
“CentralwOrld, often described as the ‘Times Square of Asia,’ has long been at the forefront of lifting economic activity, especially in the last quarter of the year, when nationwide shopping-centre traffic is expected to rise by 25 to 30%.
“We are also strengthening Thailand’s position as a tourism powerhouse by attracting more international visitors through our 12 tourist-focused shopping centres nationwide. These include short-haul markets in Southeast Asia, as well as high-potential segments from the Middle East, the United States and beach-destination travellers heading to Pattaya, Samui, Phuket and Krabi.”
Disney ‘The Magical Star’ 2026 at centralwOrld
For the first time, centralwOrld will be featuring iconic Disney characters from around the world in one place, on an area of over 3,500sqm. There will be 7 zones highlighting Disney’s storytelling with your favourite dream characters.
The stars of the show are Mickey & Friends, where visitors can experience the first snow and receive a magical postcard at a Journey of Magic in Amazing Thailand.

- Princess Castle at Central Court
Don’t miss out on the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong Disneyland with a 5-metre-tall Inflatable Mickey Mouse in a specially-designed costume and a replica of the Hong Kong archway.
Furthermore, centralwOrld has collaborated with 20 leading brands to create exclusive collections, where over 200,000 visitors are expected to join in the special celebrations each day.
Mickey & friends bring smiles across 24 Central shopping centres
Bringing joy to fans of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy, and Goofy at Magic Town, visitors can enjoy cute and unique Mickey & Friends decorations and photo landmarks such as:
- The giant Mickey & Minnie inflatable
- 3-metre-tall Mickey Mouse giant plush dolls
- Mickey’s head-shaped landmarks
These installations will be featured at 24 Central branches nationwide.
Disney princesses await at ‘The Magic Castle’
For the first time in Thailand, Disney Princess castle replicas will be on display across 17 Central shopping centres nationwide. The centrepiece is the 8-meter-high Magic Castle that everyone can step into.
Visitors can also meet stunning princess statues, including:
- Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
- Ariel (The Little Mermaid)
- Belle (Beauty and the Beast)
- Rapunzel (Tangled)
- Cinderella (Cinderella)
- Queen Elsa (Frozen)
Every branch will offer a joyful, inspiring atmosphere with these magnificent sculptures, serving as stunning photo landmarks for everyone to capture magical moments.
Exclusive ‘Magical Thai Pride’ trees at nine Central branches
Central Pattana is showcasing ‘The Magical Thai Pride’, a collection of Thai-identity Christmas installations, across nine Central destinations nationwide. Each location features a distinct design inspired by its local heritage:
- Krabi: Sea-themed concept
- Hatyai: Batik interpretation
- Surat Thani: Praw Rasa motif
- Chiang Rai: Mok Panwa craftsmanship
- Chiangmai Airport: Woven craft design
- Korat: Dan Kwian clay inspiration
- Chonburi: Phanat Nikhom woven style
- Salaya: Orchid theme
- Mahachai: “Queen of Salt” concept
Visitors can see 3-metre-tall Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse figures dressed in Thai fabrics, featuring patterns from eight provinces. These creations celebrate the charm, contemporary appeal, and cultural richness of Thai fabrics.
The provincial patterns featured are:
- Chiang Rai: Tai Lue textiles
- Chiangmai Airport: Tin Jok
- Korat: Korat silk with the iconic Korat cat pattern
- Chonburi: Phanat Nikhom woven craft
- Mahachai: Salt-flower motifs
- Salaya: Orchid motifs
- Surat Thani: Nipa palm patterns
- Krabi: Sea-inspired batik pattern
