EDC Thailand announces new December dates following strong early-year momentum
Third edition set for December 18 to 20, 2026, at Rhythm Park, Phuket

Following the success of EDC 2026, held just last week from January 16 to 18, Future Vibes, the developer and operator of international music festivals in Thailand, together with Insomniac, the global dance music experience curator and creator of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), announced the return of EDC Thailand for its third edition.
The festival will move from its traditional January dates to the end of the year, taking place December 18 to 20, 2026, at Rhythm Park in Phuket.
Last week’s EDC Thailand 2026 welcomed over 100,000 attendees across three days from countries around the world. The turnout reaffirmed Thailand’s growing reputation as a leading destination for global music and lifestyle experiences.

The January edition delivered a full-scale EDC experience, featuring world-renowned EDM artists, cutting-edge production, immersive lighting, sound, and pyrotechnics, as well as large-scale art installations.
Thailand-exclusive experiences such as Downtown EDC, Binary Beach, and Hotel EDC Thailand were introduced alongside interactive attractions, including rides, Kandi Casino, Diva Show, and Karaoke Battle, all of which received strong audience response and reflected the integration of global dance music culture with local identity.
The third edition of EDC Thailand is set to build upon these experiences while further enhancing the overall festival journey.
The move to December aligns the event with the global year-end celebration season and the start of Phuket’s peak travel period, allowing international visitors to plan extended stays and fully immerse themselves in relaxation, celebration, and music within a single destination under ideal outdoor festival conditions.

For the December 2026 edition, EDC Thailand will introduce a new All-Access Experience Pass, granting entry to the Thursday Night Official Opening Beach Party as well as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday daytime parties, offering headliners an immersive way to extend the EDC experience beyond the festival grounds. Additional details will be announced soon.
“EDC Thailand has grown faster than we ever expected,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder & CEO of Insomniac.
“Moving the festival to December came from listening to our fans around the world. We want Thailand to be a place where people can truly spend time, relax, and ease into the EDC experience. Phuket offers everything for that, and we see incredible potential for it to become one of the world’s leading music destinations.”
Nopmanus Sungkasap, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Future Vibes Thailand, added, “The success of EDC Thailand proves that Thailand is fully ready to host world-class music festivals. Working with Insomniac has allowed us to elevate standards across production, experience, and operations.”
“Shifting to December gives attendees greater flexibility to plan their travels and spend more meaningful time in Thailand, while supporting our long-term vision of positioning Phuket as a sustainable global music and lifestyle destination.”
For the December 2026 edition of EDC Thailand, a limited-quantity presale will be available on January 23, 2026, at 10am (ICT), with 3-day passes starting at 7,090 baht.
