International School of Samui (ISS)

International School of Samui (ISS) The school has a British curriculum, and has connections with schools and universities in Great Britain and around the world.

ISS has a successful track record in producing successful students. Over the last three years, students have achieved grades 50% higher than the UK average.

ISS was founded by a British family in 2007. The school employs teachers who speak English at a native level.

The school educates students from Early Years to Year 13.

British International School of Samui (PBISS)

As its name suggests, British International School of Samui is another British international school in Koh Samui. However, BISS has a unique curriculum known as the Cambridge x STEM+ curriculum.

This curriculum applies STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and maths) across the curriculum through subjects such as geography, languages, music, and sports.

In the STEM curriculum, students learn through doing innovative projects, such as the 21st Century Smart Farm Project.

The school runs from Early Years to Secondary School.

Lamai’s Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) curriculum is based on the UN Agenda 2030 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The ESD includes a component on Socio-Emotional Learning.

Lamai has small class sizes, so that it can cater to students’ individual needs and learning styles. This nurturing environment encourages students’ success, while also promoting respect for differences.

Greenacre International School Samui

Greenacre International School Samui is located amidst beautiful scenery, with waterfalls nearby. This adds to the school’s focus on the natural world and environmental awareness.

The environmental curriculum teaches students to take responsibility and pride in their environments and communities. It encourages them to take action to live a sustainable life.

Greenacre follows the National Curriculum of England, and is a Pearson Edexcel Approved Examinations Centre.

The school educates three to 16 years old from Nursery to Year 11.
