The Republican nominee emphasised, “So it’s deductibility of interest is great, but only if the car is manufactured in the United States.” He questioned the audience, “Is that a great idea?” Trump further argued, “Why would we give tax benefits if they manufacture the car in China or Japan, or lots of other places that took our business over the years?”
