During spider season, male spiders predominantly invade homes, with about 80% of these intruders being males in search of a mate. Professor Adam Hart, an entomologist at the University of Gloucestershire, noted that female spiders typically remain stationary indoors, contributing to the seasonal surge in spider sightings.
