Since all the individuals were under 18, they were taken to Chalong Police Station, where their details were recorded. Their parents were subsequently contacted to notify them of the incident, as required by law.

Chalong Police confirmed that no charges had been filed at this stage, but the teenagers were issued with warnings for causing a disturbance. The seized motorcycles were temporarily impounded as part of the investigation.

Police remain vigilant in addressing such incidents, ensuring the safety and order of the community, reported The Phuket News.

While the incident is not believed to involve any serious criminal activity, it highlights the ongoing issue of teenage gatherings and the importance of maintaining public order.

Police officials are urging parents to be more aware of their children’s whereabouts, particularly late at night, to prevent such disturbances in the future.

In similar news, Phuket City police launched a high-octane operation in the early hours of Saturday, March 8, targeting a group of young motorcyclists causing a disturbance with their noisy, customised bikes.

Led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Ratchaphas Buakaew and Lieutenant Thanakorn Chuaphong, the operation began at 4am on the busy bypass road. Although no illegal substances were found, all modified motorcycles were seized.

Some 24 custom bikes were impounded and escorted to Phuket City Police Station for a thorough inspection. The operation aimed to curb the growing issue of noisy, disruptive vehicles in the area.
