Brave mum alerts cops on knife-wielding thug attack in Pattaya
In a chilling night of chaos, a brave mum blew the whistle on a terrifying assault on her son and his friends by knife-wielding thugs in the usually quiet Soi Banglamung 33, Nongprue, North Pattaya. The drama unfolded on the night of November 1, when the teens found themselves suddenly targeted by a gang of unruly yobs hurling firecrackers and flashing knives.
The victim’s mother, Air, painted a hair-raising picture: four to five teenage troublemakers roared up on their motorbikes and started launching firecrackers, filling the night with deafening blasts. As if that wasn’t enough, one brazen lout brandished a formidable knife in a menacing effort to frighten the youngsters.
But luck was on their side, as Air’s son and his pals managed to dash indoors to safety, unscathed. Unfortunately, their troubles weren’t over, the gang vandalised a motorbike parked outside, leaving slash marks as their calling card before vanishing into the night.
Determined to see justice done, a steely Air reported the whole sordid affair to the Bang Lamung police. Armed with sharp CCTV footage that captures the entire escapade, she’s urging the boys in blue to collar these reckless renegades and restore peace to her neighbourhood.
But there’s more. Air dropped another bombshell: this band of miscreants, showing no respect for sacred traditions, have been wreaking havoc online. Posting under the TikTok handle GrostSol7, they’ve been stirring up outrage with videos showing their disrespectful destruction of spirit houses and figurines, trampling over deeply held beliefs and provoking the public’s ire.
Now, residents are keeping their eyes peeled, as the Thai police work to bring these lawless knife-wielding thugs to justice.
In related news, a condominium security guard in Pattaya’s Jomtien area is under investigation after allegedly brandishing a knife at a resident over a parking dispute. The incident, which had raised concerns about future safety, involved 46 year old Ek and his partner, 49 year old Am, who reported the matter to the police.
Ek recounted the incident that occurred yesterday, October 31, when he was dropping off Am at her condominium. Upon arrival, Ek noticed the entrance was blocked by a parked car. Seeking assistance, he approached Preecha, the security guard, requesting him to help move the vehicle.
