The gunman was reportedly a man named Jarun. He reportedly shot dead his wife and mother-in-law at the house before committing suicide.

Police used a drone to monitor the house and found three lifeless bodies inside. Details of the motive for the shooting have not yet been released.

In a separate case of domestic violence, a Thai man shot dead his wife and mother-in-law at a house in the Isaan province of Khon Kaen before taking his own life. Before the suicide, the suspect posted on his Facebook account that his motive was jealousy.

The man claimed his wife had been unfaithful to him, leading to a heated argument in which he threatened her with a gun. When the mother-in-law intervened, he shot them both in a fit of rage.

In a similar case last month, police arrested a Thai man for attacking his wife and mother-in-law with a pestle. The man claimed the attack was motivated by jealousy.

He said he noticed his wife dressing nicely for work every day and feared she was being unfaithful. When her mother intervened, he attacked her as well. The man also stole his wife’s motorcycle during his escape from the police.

Another case was reported in December last year, when a Thai woman was shot by her son-in-law in a popular bar and restaurant in Phuket. The gunman claimed that his mother-in-law often insulted his parents, which provoked his anger.
