The Royal Gazette has published a ministerial regulation allowing 23 types of gambling activities within specific time frames, such as human-bull racing, boxing, wrestling, ring tossing, and mahjong.

The report from today, October 11, details that the Royal Gazette has released Ministerial Regulation No. 46, permitting the following gambling activities within designated hours: human-bull racing from 7am to 7pm, boxing and wrestling from 12pm to 12am, ring tossing from 7am to 12am, and mahjong, point-based card games, and various other card games from 12pm to 12am on Sundays and from 6pm to 12am on other days.

The announcement explains the rationale behind this regulation. It highlights that the current permitted timings for animal fights or competitions do not align with the traditional practice of bull racing, which typically occurs at night. Therefore, it is necessary to establish specific time allowances for bull racing to preserve this cultural heritage.

The timing adjustments aim to respect and continue the tradition of nighttime bull racing, differentiating it from other activities. This regulation ensures that the cultural customs are upheld while providing clear guidelines for other gambling activities.
