These retail prices do not include the Bangkok maintenance tax.
The announcement comes as a welcome relief for motorists amid fluctuating global oil prices. The reduction in fuel prices is expected to ease the burden on consumers, providing some financial relief for daily commuters and businesses alike.
A representative from PTT Station commented on the decision.
“We are committed to supporting our customers during these challenging economic times by lowering our fuel prices. This adjustment reflects our ongoing efforts to align with global market trends and provide competitive pricing.”
This price change is part of PTT’s regular review and adjustment of fuel prices, which considers various factors including global oil prices and domestic economic conditions. The company has been known for periodically adjusting its prices in response to market dynamics.
Motorists are advised to take note of the new prices and plan their refuelling accordingly. The adjustment, effective from 5am tomorrow, August 10, ensures that consumers can benefit from the reduced prices promptly.
The reduction in fuel prices is expected to have a ripple effect on the cost of goods and services, potentially lowering transportation costs and contributing to overall economic stability. Businesses that rely heavily on transportation and logistics will particularly benefit from the reduced fuel expenses.
An expert in the energy sector noted that this price reduction is a positive move for both consumers and businesses. It helps mitigate the impact of global oil price volatility and supports economic activities by reducing operational costs.
Consumers can stay updated on fuel price changes through PTT Station’s official channels. Regular updates are crucial for those who wish to make informed decisions regarding their fuel purchases, reported Khaosod.
