Despite their efforts, rescue teams could not save her, and she succumbed to her injuries shortly after. The family was devastated, collapsing to the floor in grief. According to her boyfriend, she had been under significant stress after being scammed in a jade auction, losing over 50,000 baht. He mentioned she was already suffering from depression and was on medication for drug rehabilitation. He had tried to console her, promising to help recover the lost money.

The victim’s boyfriend further explained that he was shocked to find her in such a state during the night. He immediately tried to assist and called for rescue services, but their efforts were in vain as she passed away in front of him.

Police officers, led by Deputy Inspector Yattipong Jiampuak, have since moved the body to Bang Lamung Hospital for preservation and have sent it to the Police General Hospital’s forensic institute to determine the exact cause of death.

Family members have been invited for questioning as part of the investigation, and arrangements will be made for the relatives to collect the body for religious funeral rites, reported KhaoSod.
