Australian model Rebecca Judd opened a door for her fans to take a peek into her glamorous past, reminiscing about the unforgettable moment she met her footballer husband, former AFL star Chris Judd, during her modelling days in Bangkok.

The 41 year old WAG took to Instagram yesterday, sharing a video of herself applying tanning mousse and answering fans’ burning questions about her life. Clad in a black strapless bikini, she revealed the story behind her romance with Chris, now 40.

“Back then, I was living and modelling in Bangkok. I was just 20 years old, visiting Perth, when I met Chris. I was out drinking with friends at the Cottesloe Beach Hotel and saw him. Instantly, I liked him.”

Despite her usual shyness around men, Judd, emboldened by a few glasses of red wine, decided to make the first move.

“I was a bit drunk, which gave me confidence. I approached him, and we hit it off right away. It’s funny, I didn’t have many boyfriends growing up because I was very picky. But with Chris, I knew immediately.”

Their connection was so strong that Judd decided to give up her international modelling career to stay in Perth with Chris. She re-enrolled at Curtin University, studying journalism and later switching to speech pathology, a field she had always been intrigued by.

Reflecting on her time in Bangkok, Judd described it as one of the best years of her life.

“I was 19, living in a model house, working on incredible campaigns for international brands like Head & Shoulders and Coca-Cola. The work was insane, and Bangkok was such an amazing city.”

Judd and Chris’s relationship blossomed, leading to their marriage on December 31, 2010, at Melbourne’s Albert Park. The couple now lives in a luxurious US$7.3 million (around 266 million baht) mansion in Brighton, Melbourne, with their four children, 12 year old Oscar, nine year old Billie, and seven year old twins Tom and Darcy, reported Daily Mail UK.
