The popular tourist magnet, Ao Nang Beach in Krabi, is back to normal following the warnings and boat bans because of the storm.

The director of Tourism Authority of Thailand Krabi Office says, “After the storm passed all boats are allowed to head back to the sea. Tourists are back on our beaches.”

“We allowed the boats to leave port from Sunday morning.”

“The Phuket to Phi Phi Island ferry is open daily and again in active service. The ferry to Ko Lanta is back to normal service as well and available every day.

“However we are prepared to handle any emergency situation and will always seek to think of our passenger’s safety first.”

Chalong Pier is also back to normal today following the lifting of the ban on boats leaving port.
