The shop owner, 26 year old Tai, recounted the harrowing experience. He explained that as he was closing his cannabis shop, located on Santisuk Alley in the Santitham area, the group, dressed in black, stormed in.

Armed with two sharp metal rods, they swiftly overpowered Tai and his employees, binding their hands and feet and covering their heads with sacks.

“The group pretended to be police officers who were inspecting for legal violations. They coerced me into providing phone passwords and then transferred over 300,000 baht from my account. They took everything valuable they could find, including the motorcycles, before fleeing the scene.”

The local police, led by Winichai Pinijsak, the Superintendent of Chang Phueak Police Station, were promptly informed of the incident. They have since launched a thorough investigation into the robbery.
