Krabi’s Best Bars You Should Visit

1. Hobby Hops

Hobby Hops is an impressive, quirky bar with a hipster vibe. The bar is quite hidden because it’s located on the 2nd floor of a building, but it’s still one of the most popular bars in Krabi. It’s filled with mix and match, shabby-chic furniture, including comfortable couches where you can sit back and enjoy the laid-back vibe. There’s a wide selection of international and local craft beers to choose from, as well as other alcoholic drinks and some delicious food. If you’re not sure which beer you should try, the cheerful staff is more than happy to give you advice and recommendations. The bar also provides live music to keep you entertained.

Opening hours: Open daily from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Address: 2 Khongkha Rd, Pak Nam, Mueang Krabi District, Krabi 81000.

2. Lucky Restaurant & Last Bar

Lucky Restaurant & Last Bar was named so because it used to be the last bar on the main strip in Railay many years ago. While the strip has been extended, the bar has kept its name and is now one of the most happening places in the area. The menu features a wide range of cuisine, from the spicy flavour of Thai cuisine to Western classics and vegetarian plates. You can also enjoy a great selection of refreshing cocktails here. The price is reasonable and the happy hour is lengthy, running from 6.00 to 10.00 PM. The bar transformed into something of a club in the evening, with UV strobe lighting and dance music, giving you a rave atmosphere. If you come during the high season, you might be able to watch a Muay Thai Boxing demonstration and fire show.

Opening hours: Open daily from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Address: Railay Beach East (at the end of the beer bar strip), Krabi.

To keep with the Irish theme, the bar serves Guinness and Irish ciders, as well as Sunday roasts, crumpets, and craic by the barrel full. Sports enthusiasts will also love this bar as it has six screens showing live sports. In addition, you can take part in the regular quizzes and events for an extra fun night out.

The bar is made of bamboo and thatch, with seating areas under the trees, making it secluded and peaceful. You can choose to sit on the bar, on the bamboo decking, or relax in the hammocks. The vibe is calm and relaxing, allowing you to peacefully enjoy the view while sipping a cold beer or cocktail. Thanks to its location, you can also enjoy some spectacular sunsets here. It turns into a party spot with fairy light, live music, and well-made cocktails in the evening. Besides the delicious cocktails, they also offer burgers and other snacks. This fun bar also provides a number of board games, such as Connect 4, Jenga, and more. In addition, it features its very own tattoo studio and Thai boxing rings, so you can watch Thai boxing matches and shows while enjoying a glass or two of delicious cocktails.
