MedPark Hospital receives PM’s Export Award, a prideful end to 2024
Doctor Pongpat Pathanavanich, managing director of MedPark Hospital, proudly accepted the Prime Minister’s Export Award 2024 (PM’s Export Award) on behalf of the hospital. MedPark was recognised with the Best Service Enterprise Award in the Health & Wellness category, encompassing hospitals, specialised medical centres, and clinics.
The award ceremony was presided over by Pichai Naripthaphan, minister of commerce, at Santi Maitri Building, Government House, Bangkok.
This award marks a significant achievement for MedPark Hospital, reaffirming its excellence in healthcare services, particularly in gaining the trust of international patients. Over the past four years, the hospital has seen steady growth in its international patient base, generating continuous revenue for Thailand.
Patients from various regions, including Western countries, the Middle East, neighbouring Southeast Asian nations, China, and Africa, have sought MedPark’s specialised and comprehensive care for complex conditions. This milestone reflects the dedication and teamwork of the hospital’s management, doctors, nurses, and staff, who have collectively contributed to advancing Thailand’s healthcare services and economy.
The Prime Minister’s Export Award has been organised annually by the Department of International Trade Promotion under the Ministry of Commerce since 1982. This year’s ceremony, the 32nd edition, was themed Forward and Beyond – The Power of Perfection, aiming to spotlight high-potential Thai export businesses while elevating them to compete sustainably in global markets.
For the PM’s Export Award 2024, 150 businesses participated, with 41 awards granted across seven categories, representing 39 companies from 25 provinces. Together, these awardees have contributed over 43 billion baht in export revenue in 2024. The recognition underscores the quality and excellence of Thailand’s products and services, boosting international trust and confidence.
